1. What is your favorite book?

Truthfully, I have sat here for about 10 minutes now. I cannot decide! xD I would say its between the Goblet of Fire and The Deathly Hallows. Or the Philosophers Stone. Crap pot, my Goblet of Fire copy is a little.....Damaged....

2. What is your favourite film?

It has to be the Prisoner of Azkaban! I absolutely love this film. I mean I love them all but PoA just makes me happy and always cheers me up....Wait they all do....arghhhh. I know what it is! This was the film which got my interested in Harry P. Yes I was a late fan! shush! 

3. What is your least favourite book?

Don't speak of such things! How dare you! I physically can't choose...soz. Ok, I guess it would have to be, the deathly hallows. Mainly for all the death which occurs and but there are parts I really love in that book too :/

4. What is your least favourite film?

I would say, after a lot of thinking, the Order of The Phoenix.... :( I just think this one wasn't as strong as the others, plus it had Umbridge in! blurgh! 

5. Parts of the books/ films that make you cry.

Well no.1 would have to be Dobby! cried like a baby in the book and the film! Also when Dumbledore died obviously, oh and when Fred died :( I'm always a mess when harry walks into the great hall and sees the Weasleys all crying. Also most of  the times when harry sees his parents, during the priori incantatem and when he has the resurrection stone. 

6. If you could hook up with any character, who would it be?

Definitely Ron Weasley! or maybe Draco xD when he's not being a total ass! 

7. Who is your favourite character?

That is easy! Professor Severus Snape! What a legend! (Named my cat after him! Sir Severus Socks, he is called) oh and Sirius Black and Lupin are awesome too. and Harry xD

8. Who is your least favourite character?

Professor Umbridge, Lavender Brown and Mundungus Fletcher

9. What is your least favourite line?

Hmmm, tough one again. Nope i got it! When Ginny says "You can hide me up here too" in the Half Blood Prince Film. Almost every time I think, aye, I wish he would xD. 

10. What would your patronus be?

I would like to think, it would be a cat. it's my favourite animal. 

11. If you could have the Ressurection Stone, Invisibility Cloak or Elder Wand, which would it be?

No question, the invisibility cloak! The stone is wrong, doesn't actually work properly and the elder wand would be too much for me (though I wouldn't brag) xD. The cloak is much safer ;).

12. Which house would you be in? 

On Pottermore I was put into Hufflepuff. However I would like to think Gryffindor, Although I like Slytherin too xD (excited to be wearing my Slytherin top right now xD)

13. If you could meet any member of the cast, who would it be?

Daniel Radcliffe!! right now! this second!! Helena Bonham Carter and, Alan Rickman, and original Dumbledore, Richard Harris because he was a much better Dumbledore in my opinion. 

14. If you were on the quidditch team, which position would you play?

I think I would be the seeker. I doubt I would be very good at being a chaser or keeper. I would be ok as a beater I think. maybe.

15. Were you happy with the ending? 

Yea, I was. I mean, it was the typical happy ending I guess but I think after everything harry had lost. He deserved a bit of happiness. :) 

16. How much does Harry Potter mean to you?

Almost everything......Anyone mentions it and I light up. I get so attached and even after all these years? Always.

Also I am going to the Harry Potter Studio tour London again :) next week. So expect a blog post on that! :D soooooo EXCITED.

Hi all,

So I recently subscribed to My Geek Box. As you many tell by the title....this is a subscription box that includes geek themed things and also a t-shirt each month. I watched a few reviews and found on the website that the next one would be 'Animation' themed and couldn't resist! So I went ahead

I was really excited to receive my box! Plus it came the next day after they sent it, even by tracked royal mail so I got an email when it was to be delivered which is handy :).

 Love this ^ Will have to have a long think where to stick this. Stickers bring so much responsibility with them xD. 

There you go, I was pleased with this box but as i'm not a huge fan of Adventure time, It was a little disappointing. I expected a lot more variety, there are so many different animations they could have used. Anywho for 16.99, its not bad the pop figure and t-shirt make the price. Not sure of the value of the box, I will try and figure it out soon.

I'm really excited for the August box, its quest themed! That should be amazing! hopefully xD

Snickers cookies

Hi all,

So I had a brilliant idea while baking cookies at work...snickers cookies!

Best of both worlds.

I scoured the internet for snickers cookies recipes and decided to make choc chip cookies and add the chunks of snickers in the middle :).

Now, I know traditionally, you buy flour, eggs, etc to make cookies but there is a lot of ingredients and it was a lot of money for some cookies. So I am not ashamed to say....I cheated....also I didnt know if we already has some ingreients at home and couldnt get signal so thought what the heck. I can do it properly next time xD 

This is the cookie mix I purchased. I thought the pic was better than this :/ 

So I began. As I cheated here, all I had to do was add water a voila (think thats how its spelt) instant cookie dough, like mash really....

Anywho, I started with cutting a snickers bar into 8 pieces, as the mix makes 8 cookies. 

Then spooned a little of dough on to a baking tray, add the delightful snickers chunk and then add more gooey cookie dough on top.

 I did this until I finished the dough....I only got 7 cookies!! 

But it's ok because that means a piece of snickers for me :)

Right into the oven they went. 10 long minutes they stayed in and got baked xD.

Then as if by magic, freshly cooked cookies are made. And smelt amazing may I add :D.

Here they are cooled. 

Then finally, the taste test :D. They were great, the snickers chunk really made the cookie extra special :) and the cookie dough wasn't bad either xD

Next time I shall make my own cookie dough and aim to try a different method for the snickering up of thy cookie :) alas it shall remain a secret...for now ;).

Papertoy Monsters Calendar: July

So it's that time again :). July is here, and that means a new shiny monster

I hope you enjoy seeing the monsters each month and reading about their personalities :).

This one looked so cool, when I got it out the calendar I was quite excited. Making it however, wasn't too fun. Especially the head! I had to, in the end, Sellotape his head together xD.

All in all, I was pleased with this months monster :). Although he is responsible for accidental sinking of seven yachts, I think he is a gentle and kind fellow. He just needs to smile more :)

Solo outing

Hi all, 

Got a few days off work, so have come to Newcastle to see 22 jump street! I cant wait :D

For lunch, I chose to come to the Northside Diner on the third floor in Fenwicks. Its a lovely american diner! Love these places, there should be more! I have a dream to open one! Anywho, its quite expensive but by golly its yummy. 

I went for the tex mex burger, it arrived and wow! There is a lot of fries! I also was soon discover there were also gherkinsn omg! Love america xD 

The only downside to this chose burger was the sandwich slide...yep, the symdrome where the soft squishy parts all slide away from you. I had guacamole, lettuce and beef slowly flowing away from me! So not only was I in a booth by oneself, I was attempting to hold together a slidey burger which was all over my face and hands like a crazy person! Not very ladylike, this burger! 

You know, who cares if I dine alone. What kind of world would we love in when, one cannot dine with ones self??? I like alone time and eating without trying to speak to someone with food in my mouth! I like hot food thank you very much! XD

Well, after bing cheered on by the waitress, bless her, I have managed to finish the few fries left and the ordeal being over. And not one bit on my bright white top! :D a success I think! 

As diners go, this one is lovely and the music is always a delight! :D 

Well off I go to pay, well maybe after have a sit for a few minutes :). Phewww

I shall do another post about the cinema outing :D.
