Got a few days off work, so have come to Newcastle to see 22 jump street! I cant wait :D
For lunch, I chose to come to the Northside Diner on the third floor in Fenwicks. Its a lovely american diner! Love these places, there should be more! I have a dream to open one! Anywho, its quite expensive but by golly its yummy.
I went for the tex mex burger, it arrived and wow! There is a lot of fries! I also was soon discover there were also gherkinsn omg! Love america xD
The only downside to this chose burger was the sandwich slide...yep, the symdrome where the soft squishy parts all slide away from you. I had guacamole, lettuce and beef slowly flowing away from me! So not only was I in a booth by oneself, I was attempting to hold together a slidey burger which was all over my face and hands like a crazy person! Not very ladylike, this burger!
You know, who cares if I dine alone. What kind of world would we love in when, one cannot dine with ones self??? I like alone time and eating without trying to speak to someone with food in my mouth! I like hot food thank you very much! XD
Well, after bing cheered on by the waitress, bless her, I have managed to finish the few fries left and the ordeal being over. And not one bit on my bright white top! :D a success I think!
As diners go, this one is lovely and the music is always a delight! :D
Well off I go to pay, well maybe after have a sit for a few minutes :). Phewww
I shall do another post about the cinema outing :D.
