Indulge your imagination in every possible flight.” —Pride and Prejudice (1813)
On this wonderful day in 1775, 239 years ago, Jane Austen was born. In 1811, Sense and Sensibility was published. I will not list all of her books, but my favourite is her second book in 1813. Pride and Prejudice of course! (I must admit I haven't read any of her books. I know so shameful! but I do own them all, I just need to find the time to read them!)
I found this quote here and loved it immediately, check it out if you want to see more quotes or tips for a successful life."I do not want people to be very agreeable, as it saves me the trouble of liking them a great deal.” — Personal correspondence
I wanted to write a blog post just to celebrate her really. I have fell in love with how she writes her stories and how immediately I want to be there, experiencing it all with the characters, even the characters I dislike xD.

If you are a fan of Jane Austen I highly recommend the Jane Austen gift shop, mentioned in a previous post. It would be an idea to visit the Jane Austen Centre in Bath, visit the website for more info. I would love to go there :) they have an annual Festival and even a quiz to test yourself! lets go for it...uh oh I got 3/10....in my defence I only know 3 of her books. I have yet to even know the stories of Mansfield Park, Persuasion and Northanger Abbey...Really need to get on that....
The more I know of the world, the more I am convinced that I shall never see a man whom I can really love. I require so much!” —Sense and Sensibility (1811)
