Shopping day haul

Hi all,

I went shopping on saturday and wanted to share with you some stuff I got :)

I got most of the bits from primark :) love that place!

As soon as I saw this, I fell in love instantly :) it's so cute and oh so fluffy! :D

I got this little bag at the checkout, much better then the paper bags they give you. 

The next two, I got for my holiday, next week, to Turkey. They were on sale of course, £3 each :) 

I had a lovely time with my family, we don't go shopping together much. 

I also bought some black jeans from new look, havent had black jeans in a while. Also I got some black leggings from primark so I can finally wear my Alice in Wonderland dress I got previously. 

We also popped into Ikea, I got this uber cute lantern :). Only £2!! Bloody bargain :D 

Oo also, On my last trip to primark, I got some pretty cool t shirts. One with the Nasa logo, one with Olaf from Frozen, and a Harry Potter pyjama top :) 

I hope you enjoyed what I got. I hope you like Primark as much as me and probably the rest of the UK xD.

My GeekBox September

Hi all,

So just received my geekbox and i'm loving it :).

Firstly I received this new mag, they have started to give out, has cosplayer interview and review of game I believe. 

Next we have a handy, light stick for those survival moments of course :). This will be in my survival kit. 

Also inside was a Funko vinyl figure, which I wasn't gonna open but though screw it xD 

And inside was this little fellow, I will be honest, i'm not sure which character this is, so it would be helpful if someone could help me out :/. 

Omg! A freakin' twinkie

I was soooo excited!!! Tallahassee would be proud :D 

Finally a book! I love my books :). I was glad, I got this because O had wanted to read it as well :D. May have to wait to read it until summer, as the dark mornings now will freak me out xD. (See youtube video) haha

And lastly, this is the t-shirt this month. I think it's fallout? But monster/zombified. 

I really like this box again, and can't wait to get next month's which is nightmare themed :D. So best have some Freddie Kruger stuff in there!! ;)

Colin Firth drawing

Hi all, 

I decided to start drawing again this afternoon. I chose Colin Firth as Mr Darcy (from Pride and Prejudice, not Bridget Jones lol). 

Phwoar! 

Over 1 hour later.....

Even drew it by candlelight xD as you do. 

I still think it totally looks dodgy! Let me know where i've gone wrong!

Shopping :)

Hi all,

So I did a bit of shopping yesterday :)

I purchased the new One Direction perfume, which is quite nice :) very fruity :). 

Strange that it's shaped as a coffin....

But the bottle isn't a bad design. 

Even got a free makeup bag, you can get it with the purchase of the 50ml bottles and up from boots. Costs £28 for the 50ml bottle. 

I also discovered a new toothpaste which supposedly regenerates teeth enamel. Though it was an amazing idea, if it works...it cost £10 for a tube from Boots. There is also a booster serum, which you apply for 3 consecutive days a month for £30. I shall try this toothpaste and let you know the results :). 

The last piece I got is my fave, recently I have got a few pieces of Harry Potter clothing from Primark. I was so glad to find that New Look had started this too....

A lovely jumper with the logo on (as you can see). This was £22.99. 

I made some cake pops today, first time making them :). So I shall put up a post of them tomorrow :). Hope you are all enjoying this wonderful wednesday :)

Just me

Hi all,

I feel that recently, I haven't been as dedicated to my blog as I used to be, my Youtube has also taken a bit of a beating..... I just don't seem to have an inspiration anymore.

So here I sit, in my Griffindor hoodie, twiddling 'the one ring', with google at hand to help me be cool and interesting if nothing comes to mind.

Even though it isn't the hottest day today, my window lays open (hence the hoodie) so I can hear the birds. Kind of makes me feel like I live in the victorian era (although I can kind of hear very distant cars, they are ruining my thought path!!) Just quiet, country atmosphere, birds, my alarm clock ticking, and sound of wind, well there is no wind at the present time xD. My amazing writing bureau (found in a the local salvation army furniture depot? thing for £35!! :o) helps to make me feel like i'm in a more fascinating era.

I'm not saying that our era isn't interesting....but wouldn't say it was fascinating or kind. Technology is at it's peak (at the minute) and everyone can communicate with the click of a mouse (not a real one of course). But as amazing as that is, I feel that the magic of human kind is fading. The beauty of letters and conversations that occur face to face. What can you talk about face to face when you have already told that person everything through your phone or Facebook?
I have been meaning to write to my university friends (I mean letters, on actual real life paper) but just can seem to find a shop that sells notepaper! It's shocking really. Oh well, to Ebay we go....

OMG! There is some awesome letter paper on Ebay, even Frozen and the Care bears. Found some lovely paper, I got a cute pack, with squirrels on, here and some vintage looking ones here. Can't wait for them to come now :D.

I wish I could go into Pride and Prejudice for a day or week, just sit in a meadow and think. Ride around in a carriage, go to a good ol' ball.
Just laid my head on my arms and my watch could be heard alternating ticks with my alarm clock xD, ahhh the wonder of quiet.
Oh and another thing, someone should open an Austenland! A place you can go, where you can dress and act as if in an Austen novel, no outside world. For a whole week! would be awesome!!

I watched Transcendence recently, with Johnny Depp in. It made me think what the world would be like if the electricity and power just died. What would we be left with?

Right back from having dinner, we had duck spring rolls and chips. NOM! :D

I recently read The Fault In Our Stars by John Green, and I have to say it was one of the best books I have ever read. It made me smile, laugh and cry, several times.... Definitely a book I would recommend and read again and again :). I am now reading Before I Go To Sleep by S J Watson.

Well I think it's time to stop this post here, probably one of the randomist posts I have done. I do really want to keep on top of my blog and I hope that you all enjoy my writing. Please do comment on anything you like or anything you want me to post. I hope that at least a few people actually read this. If you made it to the end, let me know :D.

Frostbite campaign

Hi all,

Thought I would share a link with you all. 

Did anyone see Vampire Academy? It's a film based on the books by Richelle Mead. Its an american seried of six young-aduly paranormal romance novels, which the first of was made into a film.

I haven't read the books yet but really enjoyed the film. I hoped for a sequel but found nothing online that said it would be made :(. 

I then found this, (can't rememer how I found it) Indiegogo project

An indiegogo project to make a sequel. I have already given money to help, but it seems with only 5 days left to raise raise the money, it may not be achieved :(. 

If you have seen the movie or read the books and loved them, please give some money, even a little bit will help. Fingers crossed there may be a last minute push. 

Hope you at least look at the project :).

Papertoy Monsters Calendar: September

Hi all,

It's that time again :). Yet another month has gone by! 

This month's Monster is called zeke :).

OMG! How cute is this one!!!! It reminds me of Monsters Inc, especially when he is put on his background. 

I love his face, he looks so, so scared but hyper lol. 

Here's some info on little zeke :) the fact he has catlike stealth is worrying xD

Here is his bio :). Awww bless him, he smells :(, I would still be his friend (with a peg on my nose xD). He could be like my little pet :D.

Well that's it for this month's post. I hope next month's monster is halloweeny! I can't wait for Halloween, one of my fave holidays :D.
