Crafts :)

Hi all,

So just wanted to add a few little things I have been doing/ buying recently. A few weeks ago, it was Father's day and typical my dad's birthday was a few days before! that is just cruel for me xD. For his birthday, we went to our local Wetherspoons :) I love that place! After eating my amazing Jack Daniels chicken burger, I used the sauce to write a nice little message to my dad :)

I love doing stuff like this, took a while though xD

Also I made some lovely and simple wrapping paper for his presents.

This is so simple, I used a Letraset promarker pen and simply drew lines in two different sizes. These pens may be good for manga but are also amazing for wrapping paper. It makes an amazing line and looks really professional. My dad thought I had printed them off! xD
A craft session well done! BTW, you can get Letraset pens here, amazon or anywhere that sells craft supplies. I got mine from Hobbycraft.

Hope you give this a go for yourselves. Home made wrap isn't only cheaper but much more personal, you could do any design you choose. Whether it ties into the present, or the person you are giving it to :).

Toodles for now (enjoy your crafts :D) xx

A homely touch

Hi all,

I'm the kind of person who likes to feel homely. I love vintage looking stuff even more, or stuff with travel things on. I recently watched 'Austenland', a film about a Jane Austen fanatic goes to Austenland, a place where you can experience the world of Jane Austen. This made me really want my room to have a 18th century vibe :).

Here is my new duvet cover set, from Ponden Mill. I got this on sale for £14. It has a lovely monochrome flower pattern across. I didn't like it at first but the flowers aren't actually too in your face :).
The cushion on the bed is from Homebase, avalible here. It has a postcard design, which spoke to me :). Another addition to my room, (although it was a while ago) is the lamp, in the background. It's white with travel stamps and various travel things on, I believe it has a saying on too. I got the lamp for Store Twenty One.

I aim to co-ordinate my room more as its a mix of cream, white and grey xD. But every little helps :).

Toodles for now xx

Shopping trip haul

Hi all,

So after 1D, we had a little shopping trip in good ol' primark :). I realise, this was a while ago xD, but I had this post planned and never got around to actually writing it :/.

So here is what I got :). I realise this picture are a bit poo, and look a bit like an eBay advert xD. I am wanting to add pics of me in the clothes soon :).

So let's start with this dress I got. I saw this at first in Navy and thought it was lovely, however after seeing the white version, I fell in love. I don't wear much white so it was definitely different for me. It's strapless which is so cute :). This was £10.

Now this top....I have a thing for New York. I must have about 5 tops with different pictures of new york or anything to do with new york :). Need to go there soon! I also loved the idea it was yellow :) lovely and summery! I like the fit of this top too. This was £3 I think :/....

I this visit to primark, I loved the amount of t shirts with cult stuff on, (is that the word for it? LOL) There was so much Disney, I wanted it all. However I found this uber cute jumper with Dumbo on :). This jumper is a shorter style then my usual jumper but I think it gives it something special. This was on sale for £5.

This top, was a MUST HAVE!
As soon as I saw this ^^. I almost ran to it. People must have thought I was crazy, by the frantic run and smile on my face. My sister definitely thought I was odd until she saw what I was hurrying to. This Hogwarts top is now one of my fave tees :). This was £6. You don't get many places that sell Harry Potter tops for £6!!!!

Another 'cult' Tee. This Jurassic Park t-shirt was an instant love also. This was.....erm £3?? oh crap xD

Now onto PJ's :D. I was on the look out for new pyjamas. I don't get to visit Primark as much as I used to, which is probably a good thing!
Another buy which I had to have as soon as I saw it. These Winnie the Pooh pyjamas are so cute, and they are thin, perfect for hot summer nights. The shorts are my fave, if you can't see it in the pic, it has the map of 100 acre wood, with all the important places marked. Like in the animation :D. There was another set of pyjamas with trousers but they weren't nearly as cool. This was £8 I think.

Having seen these pyjamas, I had to buy them :). I absolutely love marvel and at only £5, not bad for pyjamas with trousers :).

So that was my shopping haul for Primark, ages ago xD. Hope you enjoyed and love Primark as much as me :).

What do you usual buy from Primark?

Toodles xx
