My Geek Box: April

Hi all, 

Howdy, welcome to my last Geekbox post. I have decided to cancel my subscription, mainly to save some money. 

So let's begin, I hope you enjoy. This month's box theme is Alliance.

First up, is the t-shirt, I love this one. I was so glad that it was a marvel item :) in the past, there has usually been DC things. This avengers top is one of my favourite ones so far.

Another item is this Adventure Time mug. I'm not a fan of Adventure Time but I think I would still use this. :) 

I was glad to see another Marvel product in the box, and this wallet is pretty cool. Not much space for cards but handy for something small. 

Here's the inside :)

The last cool item is this transformers bottle opener key ring :) very handy and awesome.

Now this last item, wasn't a fan when I saw this at the bottom. A World of Warcraft mega blocks set. Would have been better if it was Lego, I would have preferred it lol. 

For the last My Geek Box, I wasn't too impressed. :/ hate to say it but I feel that the last few boxes have had a few good items and then fillers to make it look like more. I have enjoyed My GeekBox though the months though and definitely get it if you like what has been in the boxes!

Well I hope you have enjoyed my post series and maybe it will be back sometime. LootCrate is on the way so look for that soon :).

Newcastle Film and Comic Con 2015 Part 3

Hi all, 

So it's time for the last part of NFCC. I hope you have enjoyed this mini series of my trip. 

So we had to queue up for ages to get an autograph from James Marsters, we were given a ticket with a number on and we went to queue 3 time and kept getting sent away as they were only letting people up to 600 in the line and we were 624! Finally though we got in line :D after he returned from his talk. 

I took some pictures of him as the queue moved :) 

A picture as I was closer. I was next I believe, and there's my picture ready to be signed :D 

This is my picture with the autograph, I love it. It's the best autograph I have. Mind it cost me £40 all together! Although it's worth it. 

After we got the autograph, we went to the Game of Thrones talk :) it was really interesting and funny. In the talk was James Cosmo who plays Jeor Mormont, Ben Crompton who plays Eddison Tollett and Mark Stanley who plays Grenn. 

Grabbed a picture with Mark Stanley, bless him, he was lovely. He didn't have a queue so we asked to take a picture :). 

Back at the hotel we played my Superfight game from my Lootcrate :) and we had some pretty crazy outcomes xD here is an example. 

On the sunday we just walked around the stalls again as I couldn't stay all day. There were some different guests from the saturday, here is Gareth David-Lloyd who played Ianto Jones in Torchwood. 

Me and Nicola got some doughnuts, they were delicious. You can see my Harry Potter cosplay here too.

Finally we have my haul from the weekend. A few posters, 2 pop figures and my 2 autographs :D I had a great weekend. Thankfully I didn't see too much stuff I wanted as I used all my money on what I got.

Newcastle Film and Comic Con 2015 Part 2

Hi all,

Welcome to part 2 of my Comic Con adventure :D these pictures are still from the Saturday. I enjoyed this comic con, there weren't as many special guests that I liked this time but James Marsters made up for that :D. 

Nicola with KITT, we decided why not take a photo while waiting to queue for James Marsters autograph.

Here is the most amazing part of the weekend!! I was so excited to meet him, I was shaking! He was so lovely too. :D so worth £20!! And no hover hand xD
