23 on the 23rd!

Hi all,

It was my birthday recently so thought I would put up a post :). I was very excited this year for my birthday because I was turning 23 on the 23rd which is awesome! That only happens once peeps.

My original idea was to have a 1920's themed party but after watching 'Rock of Ages', my sister and me decided we had to dress as that so changed the theme to just general fancy dress.

I had a great day, I had my night out the night before my birthday as it was way more convenient. A lot of my friends came for the meal but a few did stay out all night which was awesome.

Ok, to the costume.  So I based My outfit on this scene,

I really like what sherrie is wearing here even managed to print my own t shirt, although doesn't look nearly as professional as hers xD.

Here is my finished outfit:

The skirt and boots are from Primark, the top is i believe from Primark and I used a t-shirt transfer to add 'The Bourbon Room' Design. Bangles are also from Primark (can you tell I like Primark?) lol. 

During the night we found a random stick on moustache which apparently suited me, which is very worrying :/. 

Also my lovely sister got me a cake which was brought out after we ate. I was so surprised, it was amazing and tasted soooo good. I was actually worried I wouldn't get a cake this year :/ lol. 

After the long night, we made our way home, and I regret not taking my wheeled suitcase xD. We made it back just in time to run to argos to get my birthday present, I put my birthday money towards a camcorder! It's soooo shiny! As I now own one, my Youtube videos will be sooo much better. Can't wait to record one, it has been way too long! 

I think that was about it. Oh and me and my sister decided to play chess, LORD OF THE RINGS CHESS! Aww yea, it was epic. However, I have never played chess and I lost :'(. But it was fun so who cares xD. 

Also I found that the black king and a white pawn was missing so replaced them with a Luke Skywalker figure and a Terminator Salvation figure, as you can probably see xD. 

Well that's that :). I will post here when I make my Youtube video and we be back before you know it :)

Valentine's Day 2014

Hi all, 

So 14th of feb already! Also means it is a special day for certain people (not me) lol.

Instead of being depressed by having nothing to do this year, I decided I would do something a little different.

What better way to spend valentines day then with a slasher film staring Jensen Ackles!!! Yep, I watched My Bloody Valentine! Fitting don't you think? xD 

 

Phwoar! Look at that face! Who needs a real life man! (Oh dear god, what is happening to me!!).

Well here's to hoping for a more real life valentine's day next year :D.

Papertoy monsters Calendar: February

Hi all,

So here we are, in february already! I can't believe christmas and new year was a month ago!! Its so crazy how fast time flies!

Anywho, as it is feb, it is time for a new monster on my calendar. Now I know I said I was going to maybe make a video of me making the monster. But to be honest, Ain't nobody got time for that!! and I look a mess after work xD.

Time to unveil the feb monster......Drum roll please...

TA DAH!! This is Mega Larb (no idea what the name is xD). I tell you now, them bloody horns were the most frustrating thing ever! They just would not stick!! So I gave up, Yes I gave up, shut up! He will live with his horn hanging off. (or is it a she?)

Here is the full view. I must say this picture is much better then the last one. Thats a iphone for you, clearly better then my camera xD. What a lovely background Mega Larb has, some nice skyscrapers, and a very friendly looking octopus, or squid.....oooo and those trees look delightful! 

Here is the info on 'Mega Larb', maybe this will explain the name?

Well I guess not then..... So he is a random alien that landed in russia and now lives in florida entertaining children.....And he is called Mega Larb? well the creators of this monster mustn't have tried too hard.....(sorry creator!). 

I hope y'all enjoyed my monster for February and I look forward to making the one for march! And I will video that one :) But first it's my birthday this month!!!! WOOOO

I will blog about my party theme and outfit :D
